After having spent 10 days in the hospital in critical condition, Mark
has finally returned home and is feeling much better. He and his family
would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts, prayers, phone

Given my recent health crisis and a
strong need to stay home with my family and to rest, I'm formally
announcing a sabatical from the music business for a year or two. God
has certainly given me a second chance and a clear message to take care
of my family and myself. I will honor my obligations through the rest
of 2007, but will only play selected gigs during the coming year. I
just cannot meet the demands of travel at the moment. I've forgotten
how much it takes it out of you, especially when rest is so vital to my
recovery. I will be working on a second master's degree in physics
education through the University of Virginia on-line. I WILL record the
follow-up to my tutorial during this hiatus, but not in the immediate
future. My family HAS to come first. I hope you all will understand. I
keep you in my prayers and thank you for yours. They're one of the
reasons I'm still alive today. I know that in my heart.
